Ever since Kristine started working she knew that a 9 to 5 job was not something that she wanted to pursue. "I Wanted to have my own creative freedom and wanted to build something for myself!" At a young age Kristine had already fallen in love with beauty and the fashion world which had opened the doors and led her into the world of esthetics.
Currently Kristine is offering Lash Extensions, Hydra-facial, Dermaplaning, Nano Infusion and Microblading. Kristine is striving to give the best of the best for her clients and is working to provide amazing treatments while growing strong connections and bonds with her clientele.
We asked Kristine what three things everyone should consider when entering this industry. Kristine's response was, "First thing is to invest in a good education and keep learning! Second: Discover and find your niche, this will help you achieve your maximum potential and find success and fulfillment into anything you put your mind into, and finally third would be being in a good state of mind. Knowing you can't please everybody. There are ups and downs in this industry and you should know when to hit pause, take a break, shake it off and learn from the experience that would help you to be a better provider."
"When I opened my business I was only offering lash extensions. I was lucky enough that the town I lived in does not have that many lash technicians so I built up my clientele quite fast. The first 2 years are quite busy for me. If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to know my limits and not overwhelm myself." Said Kristine when we asked her about getting started in the industry.
If you could think of three things everyone should consider while opening a business what would those be?
- Find the space! Whether it's out of your home or a commercial rental.
- Invest in quality products that are results driven.
- Know your audience.
