Well, I mean I can't complain about the price point of this lamp. But there are a few things I just don't understand what the desginers were thinking.
For one, the numbered countdown display as well as the buttons with the times on it, are facing the client! And not the nail professional. Which is rather ridiculous.
The plug is european! With an adapter. And tends to tilt out of the wall plug. Thats kind of silly too. Why not substitute a North American cord and plug for units sold in North America. And the cord needs to be twice as long!
And then if you choose the 60sec cure button, when the client goes back in the next time, the sensors kick the light on, but instead of counting down from 60 sec, (where I set it) it just counts up and up, it doesnt stop at 60, it goes to 120sec. So now I have to instruck my client to watch the timer.
The buttons are also inconveniently placed on top where the client might rest their other hand, when it would be better to have the bottons on the back facing the professional.
And lastly, all though I love the removable bottom plate, I'd love to see it have a shiney metal finish to bounce the light around better, rather than a white plastic.
These are all majour design flaws from my perspective of being a professional in the industry for 18+ years.
I do appreciate how light weight it is, and love the gemstone-like exterior, but I'm concerned my hospital grade disinfectants might ruin the finish over time.
I hope LCN will take my feedback into consideration. Thank you for your time.
Hello Jocelyn, thank you for your feedback, which we have shared review directly with our manufacturer. Hopefully your feedback will result in improvements for future light unit models.
I've had a few lights over the years and this is the best LED light I've had. Not super compact but also not too bulky, just what I was looking for. Powerful enough to cure all the products I'm using, what more could you ask for.
It’s fantastic save so much time
